Canvas and Coif works with wedding clients most days, but weddings aren't the whole story. We also partner with brands, production companies, musicians, photographers, and private clients who need hair and makeup that holds up under lights and lasts through a long day.
All services are done on site, with travel within a 25 mile radius of the city center included. For 2026, our do and go rate for non-wedding hair and makeup starts at $400, our booking minimum, and covers one person's hair and makeup, or two hair services, or two makeup services. Every makeup application includes lashes and premium skin prep. Do and go appointments typically run about 2 hours. Production, corporate, commercial, and editorial work is quoted by day rate.

• A Comprehensive Welcome Guide – You’ll receive a detailed guide on what to expect, plus expert tips on prepping your skin and hair for your wedding. We include referrals for top salons, facialists, and spray tan artists, as well as recommendations for bridal hair accessories and veils.
• Pre-Preview Prep Guide – Before your hair and makeup preview, you’ll get a customized guide on how to prep for your appointment, so you can get the most out of your trial session.
• Personalized Timeline Coordination – Our admin team collaborates with you, your planner, and your photographer to create a seamless, stress-free wedding weekend beauty schedule. We make sure everything runs smoothly, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy.

When you inquire through our contact form found here, we will send you an email with our availability and gather the necessary info to create a custom proposal with the information you provided. To secure your date, a retainer and a signed contract is required. The retainer is nonrefundable and will be deducted from your final total. The retainer is 50% of your service total, excluding travel and gratuity. After you have signed your contract and paid your retainer, we will send you a welcome guide with all of the fun information and what to expect.

It’s also the ideal opportunity to see your full vision before the big day, so there are no surprises—just confidence. We recommend scheduling your preview 4–8 weeks before your wedding. Our team makes it easy and convenient by coming to you. Whether you prefer the comfort of your home or the luxury of your hotel, we’ll meet you at the location of your choice to create a seamless, stress-free experience and we will send you an informative prep guide a week before so you feel ready and prepared.
Yes! We love that your vision aligns with a specific artist’s portfolio and aesthetic—it’s what we’re all about. You’re welcome to request a specific artist when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preference.
However, availability is first come, first served, and we cannot hold dates without a signed contract and retainer. If you have your heart set on someone specific, we recommend booking early to secure your spot.
